So, you're cruising down the highway, Casey's in sight, and you're wondering, "Does Casey's have ethanol-free gas?" Well, grab a coffee, let's chat about it.

First things first, why the sudden interest in ethanol-free gas? Are you a classic car enthusiast, or maybe you've heard about those pesky phase separations? Either way, you're not alone in your quest for the pure stuff.

Casey's to the rescue?

Now, you might be thinking, "Casey's is my go-to for pizza, will they save the day with their gas too?" Well, let's dive in.

Casey's, the Iowa-based convenience store giant, is known for its friendly service and, of course, that delicious pizza. But when it comes to gas, it's not all black and white. See, Casey's pumps a blend of gasoline that meets the federal requirement for renewable fuel content.

Ethanol: Friend or Foe?

Ethanol, in this case, corn-based, is added to gasoline to reduce emissions and support the farming industry. But it's not without its controversies. Some folks worry about its impact on their engines, especially in older vehicles or small engines like lawnmowers.

So, back to our question: does Casey's have ethanol-free gas? The short answer is, not really. Most Casey's locations offer regular unleaded and premium fuels, both of which contain ethanol. But here's where it gets interesting.

Ethanol-free gas: A rare find

Now, you might get lucky and stumble upon an ethanol-free pump at a Casey's. Some locations, especially in areas where ethanol isn't as popular, might offer it. But it's not something you can count on.

Why the variation? Well, ethanol availability and demand can vary by region. Plus, Casey's, like many other gas stations, often sources its fuel from local suppliers. So, what's available can change from one Casey's to the next.

What to do, what to do...

If you're dead set on ethanol-free gas, your best bet is to call ahead. Casey's customer service can usually tell you what's available at a specific location. Or, you could use an app like GasBuddy to find ethanol-free gas near you.

But hey, don't let this ethanol drama stress you out. Most vehicles can handle a little ethanol just fine. And who knows, maybe one day Casey's will offer ethanol-free gas nationwide. Until then, keep cruising, keep snacking on that Casey's pizza, and enjoy the ride.
