Kickin' It Off: The Great Fair Extravaganza

Let's start with the biggie, the main event that'll have you yeehawing and hollering - the Dodge County Fair! Mark your calendars for July 27th to the 31st. This isn't your grandma's fair (well, maybe it is, but she knows how to have a good time, right?).

We're talking thrilling rides that'll make your stomach do backflips, games that'll test your skills (and maybe your luck), and food that'll make your taste buds dance the jitterbug. And let's not forget the star attractions - the 4-H shows, the demolition derbies, and the ever-popular tractor pulls.

Music to Our Ears

But wait, there's more! The fairgrounds aren't just for the big fair. Oh no, they've got a whole lineup of events that'll keep your toes tapping and your spirits high all year round.

First up, we've got the Country Thunder music festival in June. Get ready to two-step the night away with some of the biggest names in country music. And hey, if you're not much of a dancer, there's always the option to just sit back, enjoy the tunes, and soak up that sweet summer sun.

Fairs, Festivals, and Fun Galore

Now, let's talk about the Scribner Heritage Days. This little gem of a festival is all about celebrating the town's rich history. Think old-fashioned parades, craft shows, and enough food to make even the hungriest pioneer proud.

And if you're a fan of the spooky season, you won't want to miss the Haunted Fairgrounds event in October. It's a thrilling night of haunted houses, zombie paintball, and enough scares to make your heart race. But don't worry, it's all in good fun!
