Cast Of Gremlins Secrets Of The Mogwai

Hey there, movie buffs! Ever wondered what those mischievous mogwai were up to before they hit the big screen in 'Gremlins'? Well, buckle up, 'cause we're about to dive into the furry, little world of 'Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai'!

Meet the Gang

First things first, let's meet our new friends. We've got Gizmo, the adorable, fluffy mogwai who's just a kid at heart. Then there's Mr. Wang, the wise old shopkeeper who's got more secrets than a magician's hat. And let's not forget Hawkins, the intrepid teenager who's about to learn a thing or two about the magical world of mogwai.

Oh, and keep an eye out for some familiar faces! That's right, the original Gremlin himself, Stripe, makes a sneaky appearance. But shh, we don't want to spoil all the fun!

From China with Love

So, where did our furry friends come from? Well, buckle up, 'cause we're going on a trip back in time to 1920s Shanghai! That's right, 'Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai' is set in the bustling, vibrant city of the Roaring Twenties.

But this isn't your average city slicker story. No, no, no. We're talking about a world where ancient Chinese folklore meets the dark arts. It's like 'Indiana Jones' meets 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon', with a dash of 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit' for good measure!

Quirky Facts Galore!

Now, you might be thinking, 'That all sounds amazing, but what's the real tea on this show?' Well, let me spill the beans on some of the quirkiest facts you won't want to miss!

First up, did you know that the original 'Gremlins' was inspired by a story told by Steven Spielberg's father? That's right, the mogwai legend was passed down through generations, and now it's finally getting its own series!

And speaking of inspiration, the show's creators have promised to stay true to the original film's blend of horror, comedy, and heart. So, expect plenty of laughs, jumps, and maybe even a few tears (but don't tell anyone we said that!).

But here's where things get really interesting. You know how mogwai are supposed to be kept away from bright lights and water? Well, in the new series, we're going to find out why. And trust me, it's not your average bedtime story!
